Giving Employers a More Flexible Healthcare Avenue

The human arsenal might be expansive beyond all limits, but to tell you the truth, it doesn’t have anything more valuable than that tendency of ours to grow on a consistent basis. We say this because the stated tendency, in particular, has allowed us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a major member of that group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is, more or less, because of its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to guide us towards all the possibilities that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a slightly closer would reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real-world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence, including a timely appearance on our healthcare block. Technology’s foray into healthcare was so perfect with its timing, as it came right when the sector was beginning to struggle against its own obsolete structure. This reality, luckily for us, went through a complete overhaul under the new regime, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, the emerging medtech concept will somehow keep on producing all the right goods. The same has only turned more and more evident over the recent past, and a newly-launched solution should do a lot to make that trend bigger and better moving forward.

Quantum Health, the industry’s leading healthcare navigation company, has officially launched a brand new solution called Quantum Health Access, which is designed to help self-insured employers in meeting their employees’ healthcare needs. According to certain reports, the solution brings a wide assortment of services, such as healthcare benefits navigation, provider search, claims assistance, point solution referral, member engagement communications, and much more, to the table. Now, while the company already provides these services through another product named Quantum Health Complete, the new brainchild positions Quantum to tap into a segment of employers who require fewer services than what a whole suite tends to offer.

“Our Complete solution, historically speaking, literally replaced your insurance carrier. You hire a [third party administrator], you hire Quantum to do everything else,” said Zane Burke, CEO of Quantum Health. “If you are particularly a large self-insured employer, that can be a daunting task … What Access allows us to do is really meet our clients a little bit more where they are. ‘Okay, you’re not ready for the full rip-everybody-out piece, but you want to get the benefits of having a concierge.’”

Notably, the product in question delivers an interesting follow-up to 2022 McKinsey Employer Health Benefits Survey, which discovered that 41% of 1,640 employers already offer or will definitely offer advocacy services, like care navigation, to their workers, thus bolstering the commercial prospects for a company like Quantum Health.

Talk about why anyone would pick Quantum Health, the company’s excellence in what it does is validated by the fact that it currently serves more than 500 employers, who have an aggregated sum of 2 million employees. Beyond that, the company also has a glowing recommendation in the name of various honors, such as being named among the Fastest-Growing Private Companies by Inc. 5000, winning the MedTech Breakthrough Award for technology innovation, receiving the Great Place to Work recognition by FORTUNE Magazine and Entrepreneur Magazine, and much more.
